Neck Arthritis

A moderate whiplash injury.

The curvature is abnormal and the disc spaces are vastly decreased. Spurs have developed in the front part of the spine. Normally, people in this phase have a restricted range of motion and probably exhibit symptoms of some kind. In phase three the vertebrae show obvious changes and mutations in shape. Treatment at this phase cannot restore the spine back to normal. Treatment is for pain control only.

Neck Pain

Neck pain affects a large number of people. Neck pain and neck injuries can cause problems with headaches, carpal tunnel related symptoms, whiplash related symptoms and certain shoulder conditions. Studies show that more than 10% of Americans suffer from neck pain at any point in time. There are many factors that cause neck pain including: past injuries that never healed properly, poor posture, prolonged sitting, and lack of periodic spinal alignments are some of the more common factors in the development of neck problems.

Chiropractic is extremely beneficial for people suffering from neck pain. Chiropractors address the muscles, joints and nerves to relieve stress on the cervical spine. Our office has had tremendous success with helping our patients that suffer from neck pain and problems. Best of all, our care is safe & noninvasive with no side effects!

A chiropractic success story:

Melissa W. presented to our office with unresolved neck pain for the past 2 years. She noted that it would fluctuate between mild and severe depending on a variety of conditions (how she slept, how much she worked, if she stayed in one position too long, etc.) She reported that she’s been living on pain medication off and on for the past 2 years. After a complete history and examination we came up with a treatment plan consisting of specific stretches and exercises, heat, muscle stripping and adjustments. At her reevaluation one month later, she noted that she felt 75-80% better.

We hear success stories like this every day. Call our office to schedule an appointment for an evaluation so you can start feeling better today.
